The most dominant terpene of all cannabis and hemp plants, myrence is highly responsible for its distinct aroma. Myrcene has a long history of being used as a sleep-aid and it may have a muscle relaxing effect. Like many of the other terpenes, its potential medical benefits include antibiotic, antioxidant, anti-tumor, sedative and anti-inflammatory. Terpineol is often a base aroma for perfumes, soaps and lotions. It has a Pine-smoke aroma naturally found it cannabis, lilacs, pine trees, and lime blossoms.
